The Loveland Fire & Ice Festival is held for three days over the 2017 Valentine’s Day weekend. Stop-in anytime to experience the fun, music, attractions, and food the festival has to offer. Some hours may vary for various participants during the course of the festival so be sure to check our list of attractions for specific hours.

How To Get Here

The Loveland Fire & Ice Festival is held along 4th street between North Garfield Avenue and North Jefferson Avenue in Loveland, Colorado. Visit Google Map.

To get here from Denver, Colorado:

  • Take I-25 North/US-87 to US-34/Eisenhower Blvd.
  • Take exit 257 from I-25 North and turn left onto US-34/Eisenhower Blvd west.
  • Continue on Eisenhower Blvd west to Cleveland Avenue for 3.4 miles.
  • Turn left onto Cleveland Avenue south.
  • Continue on Cleveland Avenue for 0.8 miles to 4th Street in Historic Downtown Loveland.

To get here from Cheyenne, Wyoming:

  • Take I-25 South/ US-87 South to US-34.
  • Take exit 257 and turn right onto US-34/Eisenhower Blvd west.
  • Continue on Eisenhower Blvd west to Cleveland Avenue for 3.4 miles.
  • Turn left onto Cleveland Avenue south.
  • Continue on Cleveland Avenue for 0.8 miles to 4th Street in Historic Downtown Loveland.

Parking

The Loveland Fire & Ice Festival is hosted in the heart of Historic Downtown Loveland, and takes the space of multiple city blocks. Parking is limited, at your own risk and on a first come, first serve basis. Parking in Downtown Loveland is free but please observe all posted signage including time limits, prohibited days and times, as well as parking by permit only, etc. Do not park on private property without permission, and do not block driveways, alleyways, and other right of ways. Also, keep valuables out of sight when parking your car. To alleviate parking issues, please consider using the City of Loveland’s Transportation (COLT) services. Public Transportation

The Loveland Fire & Ice Festival COLT “Ice to Ice” Shuttle

New this year, the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival, in partnership with the City of Loveland Transportation (COLT), has launched the Ice to Ice Bus – making rounds between the Ice Rink at the Promenade Shops at Centerra and downtown Loveland for the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival.

The COLT shuttle will make round trips from the sidewalk on the East side of the Ice Rink at the Promenade Shops at Centerra (back parking lot) to the COLT Bus Stop at 5th Street & Cleveland Avenue (South West corner of that intersection) at regular intervals. If there are no passengers at the final pick up at 5th Street & Cleveland, they will NOT return to the Ice Rink at the Promenade Shops at Centerra.

Site Regulations

GENERAL RULES

Welcome to the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival. Safety is always our number one concern; to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our Guests, please respect the following rules:

  • All persons, bags, parcels, clothing, and other items may be subject to screening/security checks within the festival.
  • We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item to be brought into the Festival, and to deal with any unattended object in such way as we consider appropriate.
  • Please show common courtesy to fellow Festival Guests and Event Staff by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive, unruly, or offensive behavior. For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from running.
  • All Guests who participate in the Brewing & Distilling Arts must have their ID checked and wear their issued wristbands at all times. Any Guest who is consuming alcohol without a wristband or outside the designated Brewing & Distilling Arts area will be asked to leave.
  • Alcoholic beverages purchased in the Brewing & Distilling Arts tent may not leave the designated Brewing & Distilling Arts area. Excessive consumption of alcohol is cause for ejection from the Festival without refund. No one under age 21 is permitted to consume alcoholic beverages, and proper ID is required to purchase and/or consume alcohol. Only guests who have issued 21+ wristbands may consume alcohol. Additionally, consumption of alcoholic beverages is not allowed in all other areas of the permitted Fire & Ice Festival space.
  • Colorado’s Open Container Law is still in effect, and the city of Loveland does not have a Go-Cup policy.
  • For the comfort of all Guests, smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke are allowed only in designated smoking areas.
  • Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Clothing with multiple layers is subject to search. We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests.
  • Please supervise your children at all times. Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older.
  • Access to attractions depends upon the safety rules for each attraction.
  • The fireworks launch site is strictly prohibited to all Guests for your safety. No exceptions.
  • Animals on leashes are allowed in the festival, within reason. Please be responsible for cleaning up after your pet and yourself. Be advised, there will be large crowds, dynamic lighting, loud sounds, and we have a fireworks display each night that may be disturbing to some pets. For the health and safety of your pet, do not leave it in your car for any length of time while visiting the Festival.
  • Masks may not be worn by any Guests ages 14 or older (unless required for medical purposes). When worn by younger Guests, masks must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen. Tickets and other entitlements are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, revocable and void if altered.
  • Weapons of any kind, or objects that appear to be weapons (also including toy blasters, squirt guns, etc.).
  • The festival is monitored 24 hours per day by security personnel for safety and to provide assistance.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items may NOT be brought into the Festival:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Recreational devices such as drones or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), remote control toys, unicycles, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, segways, inline skates or shoes with built-in wheels
  • Strollers larger than 36″ x 52″ (92 cm x 132 cm)
  • Suitcases, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24″ long x 15″ wide x 18″ high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm)
  • Weapons of any kind, or objects that appear to be weapons (also including toy blasters, squirt guns, etc.)
  • Selfie sticks (hand-held extension poles for cameras or mobile devices)
  • Large tripods
  • Glass containers (excluding small containers such as baby food jars)
  • Laser pointers
  • Bullhorns or noisemakers
  • Confetti
  • Other items that we determine may be harmful or disruptive

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The following activities are NOT allowed:

  • The sale of goods or services or the display of goods or services for sale without prior consent
  • The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind without prior consent
  • Sitting and climbing on fences or displays (other than displays intended for seating)
  • Engaging with other Guests or impeding the operation while posing as or portraying any character in costume
  • Unauthorized events, demonstrations or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd
  • Photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind for commercial purposes
  • Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of the Festival or any associated facility

COMPANY RIGHTS

  • We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters the Festival and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person.
  • By trademark law you may not reproduce the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival logo or represent any unauthorized affiliation with the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival.
  • We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave a Festival Attraction, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require.
  • We may from time to time, without prior notice and without refund, liability or compensation, change the operating hours of any Festival or Attraction, close any Attraction or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to an Attraction, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment program if we consider that the circumstances so require.
  • Festival Rules and Regulations are subject to change without notice.

Brewing & Distilling Arts FAQ

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the Brewing & Distilling Arts Tent?

Yes, you will be required to present a valid ID proving you are 21 years of age or older to purchase tokens and to enter the Brewing & Distilling Arts Tasting Tent. Once legal age of 21 years of age or older is verified, a yellow wristband will be issued and must be worn at all times to be in the perimeter of the Brewing & Distilling Arts Tasting Tent. However, there is not a minimum age requirement to enter the event or the Food Truck Food Court. No vertical IDs will be accepted whatsoever. Promoter reserves the right to decline all sales if requirements are not met for the Brewing & Distilling Arts Tasting.

What’s the refund policy for tokens?

All sales are final. No refunds will be given.

What do I get for the price of my token?

You will enjoy a wide range of tastings from over 20 award winning handcrafted beers. One token will give you the option to choose one 4 oz. beer tasting, two 1 oz. tastings of wine or sangria and one 0.5 oz. tasting of Moonshines. Token prices are $10 for a “Half Tour” (5 tokens to be used for any tastings within the event); $20 for a “Full Tour” (10 tokens to be used for any tastings within the event.) Purchase as many packages as you like to be used during the Festival.

You must be 21+ years old with valid ID to purchase tokens and enter the Brewing & Distilling Arts Tasting Tent.

What are the Terms and Conditions?

Token Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event for which this token is issued, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event. Token Holder voluntarily agrees Blazen Illuminations and Loveland Fire & Ice Festival sponsors of the event are expressly released by token holder from any claims for injuries or death arising from Token Holder’s participation in, as well as the travel to and from this event. The token may not be resold or offered for resale in a manner or at a price in violation of any federal, state or local laws or regulations. Token Holder grants permission to Blazen Illuminations and Loveland Fire & Ice Festival sponsors of the event to utilize any photographs, motion pictures, videotapes, recordings and any other references or records of the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival that may depict, record or refer to Token Holder for any purpose, including commercial, by the Loveland Fire & Ice Festival, its sponsors and their licensees. Token Holder acknowledges that the event may be broadcast or otherwise publicized, and hereby grants permission to utilize holder’s image or likeness in connection with any live or recorded transmission or reproduction of such event in printed photographs or online transmissions. This token cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed and is valid only for the date and event for which it is issued. This token is not redeemable for cash. It is unlawful to reproduce this token in any form. Unlawful resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Service will only be offered during festival open hours and “Last Call” will be one hour prior to festival daily close time. All additional sales of tokens will close two hours prior to festival daily close time. Token Holder agrees ID wristbands are restricted to individuals age 21 years or older and proof of age is required. ABSOLUTELY NO VERTICAL IDs WILL BE ACCEPTED NO MATTER THE AGE! Token packages for all pre sales will only be given to ticket holder with valid ticket and matching valid ID. No exchanges will be accepted.

Can I buy additional Tokens on-site?

Yes, we will have multiple locations on site to purchase additional token packages. Valid ID and ID wristband will be required.

Can I buy individual Tokens?

No, Tokens are only sold in packages of 5 (five) and 10 (ten). Limit 5 ticket packages per customer.
